La Cala de Moral

Description

La Cala del Moral is a village in the municipality of Rincón de la Victoria, located in the region of Axarquia - Costa del Sol, Malaga Province, Andalusia, Spain. This enclave is known by its current name since the sixteenth century, as one of the key points on defense and vigilance of the eastern coastline of Malaga. It is separated from Rincón de la Victoria by the ascent of El Cantal and it was not until the twentieth century when it began to fill as a haven for fishermen in the area.
