La Mora Beach

Located next to the promenade, we find the La Móra beach, with a length of 520 metres and sixty metres in width, it has acquired the distinctive Blue Flag that is awarded by the Department of Environmental Issues. It is a semi-urban beach with fine golden sand that borders warm calm waters, easy to access as there are no steep entry slopes into the sea. It has signalling, lifeguard and rescue service, access for the disabled, showers, telephones, ice cream and drinks beach bar, sunshade rental, and a parking area for vehicles. Less than 200 metres away we find the Torre de la Mora camp site, of category 1, that offers a children´s play area for the small ones, a swimming pool, a sport´s area, a supermarket and a restaurant. Whoever wishes to combine resting by the beach with any type of sports activity, they can choose between two distinguishable options: on the one hand, the Tarragona marina, one of the busiest and most important in the Catalonian coast, with 442 moorings and all types of services. On the other hand, the Costa Daurada Golf Club, just over two kilometres away from the beach, with 18 holes, a social club and swimming pool among others.
