Beach of fine golden sand located next to Las Salinas nature reserve in Santa Pola. An artificial reef populated with different mollusc, crustacean and sea urchin species is located at about two miles out at sea. It is an unspoilt beach from which you can only get to on foot. Close to El Pinet beach can be found the Bonmatí salt flats, dating back to the beginning of the 20th. century, and the base of El Pinet Watchtower that signalled either to the Guardamar Castle, the Tamarit Watchtower or the Fortress-Castle of Santa Pola. The shoreline here is the start of the ramblers path that crosses the dunes of Santa Pola. This dune system is home to one of the three flora micro-reserves in the municipality of Santa Pola. This beach offers a fine panoramic view of Santa Pola’s bay. It has a length of 3590 m. and an average width of 10 m. It has a high rate of popularity.
