Description
La Carolina Beach: Semi urban beach. One of the most emblematic beaches, well accessible from the road carretera de Almería. It is oriented to the east and counts with a superb view to the village and to the promontory where the Castle of San Juan de Las Águilas is settled. Abundant fine sand, a peaceful and progressive way in to the beach. Protected to the south and the east. It is part of the site known as `Cuatro Calas`, designated as Protected Natural Landscape. The access to the coast is through a pathway directly connected with the main road. It has a length of 250 m. and an average width of 17 m. It has a high rate of popularity.
