Torrent del Pi Beach

Description

Located close to the Les Tres Cales residential area, the Torrent del Pi beach extends over the course of a footpath of sand, pebbles and stone of 150 meters in length and twenty in width. As in the case of the Mosques cove or the Calafató cove, it has beautiful landscapes and ecological surroundings of indisputable interest. It can be accessed either on foot or by vehicle or boat. It offers shower facilities and car park. The water is calm and easy to access, suitable for all types of swimmers. The Torrent del Pi is a good challenge for divers. The hollow paths allow the discovery of rock formations which reveal the presence of Posidonia (an aquatic vegetation endemic to the area) and cavities of great interest, but not easily accessible. The Torrent del Pi also offers the possibility to enter a humid area of great natural value. As in the case of other beaches in this privileged area, the terrain has created a virgin lagoon area where a large number of endemic insects and native flora coexist. Furthermore, we must not forget that the Torrent del Pi is part of the GR 92 route, along the coastal footpath.
