Marmaris Cruise Port

Description

Marmaris Cruise Port is protected by two islands, Yıldız Adası (Island) and Keçi Adası (Island). Yıldız Adası (Island) is a peninsula connected to the east shore by an isthmus of shingle about 75 m wide. A pine-clad hill rises in the middle of the peninsula to an elevation of 402 m and is crowned by the ruins of an ancient fortress. Keçi Adası (Island), also topped with ancient stones, lays to the west. The newly renovated passenger terminal is located at the end of the pier and offers a wide range of services and amenities for passengers such as public telephones, restrooms, tourism information desk, immigration, customs, health and security offices. The terminal building is fully air-conditioned and there are security X-ray machines and metal detectors for passengers and luggage at both entrances.
