Description
The harbour of Arbatax is situated on the E coast of the island of Sardinia, four miles S of Santa Maria Navarrese and 35 miles N of the harbour of Porto Corallo. Primarily a commercial and fishing port, a small marina. Is on the N side of the promontory and is entered along the line of the longer, E breakwater to avoid the shallower water towards the beach. Depths in the entrance are 11.0 metres and up to 9.0 metres on the pontoons.
