Porto Kagio: Porto Cayo is a historian bay sunward Mani, in Laconic gulf, despite the peninsula criteria as called by the locals, and just three miles north of the Cape Tainaro.Porto Cayo is a beautiful natural port and attraction of Mani but also quite safe refuge bay, almost all winds, except the northeast and anatolikous.In the area of Porto Cayo exist the remains of two historic forts where one built by the Turks in 1570, and the other Lambros Katsonis fortified in 1792 when the bay afto.The summer months the bay is flooded almost sailboats powered by Aegean to the Ionian Sea and vice versa.
