Bellamar Beach

Description

The Bellamar beach lies right infront of the old town of Premià de Mar between the beach of L´Os and the marina´s facilities. It is a beach of fine golden sand. It is wider on the side of the port, whose breakwater protects it from the eastern storms. The Associate Windsurfers of Premià headquarters are on this beach, and every year they organize activities such as beach volley and surfing tournaments. Access on foot is via an underground passageway near the train station, in front of the L´Os beach, or from the far east side, where the marina is located. By car you can get there via an underground tunnel in the town of Premià de Mar. The parking area next to the sea is very small, so it is advisable to leave the car somewhere else. A long promenade runs parallel to the coast allowing pedestrians and cyclists to go from Premià de Mar to Malgrat de Mar. It has a length of 260 m. and an average width of 58 m. It has a high rate of popularity.
