La Savinosa Beach

La Savinosa is a perfect example that a calm nudist beach can also have a varied offer of services. It is fairly isolated, as, even if it is quite close to the urban area, it is separated from it by a strip of rocky area and pine tree vegetation. It is 350 metres long and thirty wide, and it has fine golden sand. The waters are relatively calm, on occasions it has moderate wave intervals that, however, contribute to its transparency. It is one of the nudist beaches on this side of the coast which has the most services: it has information signs, lifeguard, rescue, access facilities for disabled people, portable toilets, showers, deckchair and sunshade renting facilities, and a parking area for vehicles It is customary to see boats near the beach. The Tarragona marina contributes to this, with a boat rental service and 433 moorings. Less than two kilometres from the La Savinosa we can visit two emblematic remains of Tarragona´s Roman past: the Sant Antoni doorway, the only original door left of the old Roman wall, and the Forum square, the administrative centre at the time.
