Les Madrigueres Beach

Les Madrigueres appears immediately after the Calafell beach and, to the north, marks the beginning of El Vendrell´s coastline. Its beach is usually less busy than the neighbouring beaches, so it is an ideal place for those who seek tranquility on this coastal strip. It is 1650 metres long of regenerated coarse grain sand, and has showers, toilets, surveillance, access ramps, and deckchair, sunshade and nautical equipment rental facilities. It waters are shallow, so they are ideal to go there with children. The vehicle must be left on the Sant Joan de Déu promenade or on the nearby streets. On the other side of the railway line there are several underground passageways for those who wish to go to the beach by car. The Les Madrigueres nature area is a place from where we can view many migratory bird species.
