Description
Maddalusa is an ancient village to the left of the river San Leone. In some ancient documents sixteenth-century Tuscan Tiburzio Spannocchi prepared by the engineer is quoted as Mendolosa , as close to the sand dunes of the coast had several abound almond but the name is indicated as otherwise Montelusa , as important in archeology because the district is home to the archaic necropolis of akragantine ie the one connected Emporium, made famous by the pen of Andrea Camilleri in place of Agrigento .
