Kakovatos

Description

Kakovatos is located in central Gulf Kyparissiakos, three kilometers SW of Zacharos surrounded by villages or Schinon Bischini, Kalidona, Sunless and Neochori.It is built between two pine forests that stretch north and south of the village.Anatolika at about 1000 meters is the hill of Nestor, the hoe of the German archaeologist Derpfeld the year 1907 brought to the surface from robbed graves, many ancient ruins, most of which are in the Archaeological Museum of Athens.
